Social impact isn’t just a bonus, it’s woven into the fabric of our firm. We believe legal expertise can be a powerful tool for positive change. We go beyond traditional pro bono work, partnering with organizations that align with our values. We also proactively work to understand the social impact our clients strive to make in the world, and we work to help support their goals, too.

When we founded The Retail Law Group, we knew that social impact would be a cornerstone of our business.

In our first year of business, we proudly supported the following organizations through our monetary give-back initiatives:

The National Association of Women Business Owners – Columbus Chapter: NAWBO is the unified voice of America’s more than 10 million women-owned businesses representing the fastest growing segment of the economy. With far-reaching clout and impact, NAWBO is a one-stop resource to propelling women business owners into greater economic, social and political spheres of power worldwide.

Hydra Aquatics: A not-for-profit, aquatics provider in central Ohio empowering individuals to be champions in and out of the water

Pelotonia: A community that is passionate about Ending Cancer by accelerating funding for innovative cancer research, as it hosts its signature series of iconic and impactful events with cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism experiences.

 

Thanks4Giving New Albany Run: A family and community-centered Thanksgiving day run where 100% of the net proceeds are donated to three local non-profit organizations; LifeCare Alliance, the Mid-Ohio Foodbank and The New Albany Thanksgiving Day fund at the New Albany Community Foundation.

We have a strong vision to make our world a better place, and we believe in the transformative power of unexpected acts of kindness. We are confident that as we grow, so will our ability to continue to make a positive and lasting difference in our shared community.
